Description:
Uniphate (Acephate 75% SP) is easily soluble in water and hence can be easily applied by different agricultural means. It has contact action, i.e., it acts immediately after coming into contact with the insects, rapidly killing them on the plant surfaces. It also has systemic action, i.e., it is absorbed by the plants and transported to their entire tissue system. It allows the insecticide to reach hiding or feeding insects at other sections of the crop, offering improved protection. A general-purpose, versatile organophosphate insecticide with both contact and systemic effects especially useful in controlling heavy infestations of sucking and chewing insects.
Advantages:
It is an organophosphate pesticide.
It is quickly absorbed by foliage and crop roots.
It inhibits the pest's feeding process and starves it to death.
