    Description:
    Dinotefuran is a systemic insecticide of the neonicotinoid class of chemicals. Its action mechanism is to target the nervous system of the insect by binding to certain receptors known as nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs). Upon ingestion of Dinotefuran by an insect, it binds to the nAChRs of the central nervous system of the insect, which causes overstimulation of the receptors. This continuous firing of the neurons results in paralysis and eventually leads to the death of the insect.
