    Description:

    Active ingredient of Novaline insecticide is Novaluron, which is a member of benzoyl phenyl urea class of insect growth regulators. It targets insect larvae, preventing normal development to adults, thus interfering with the life cycle of these larvae. Novaline has a quick knockdown.

    Advantages:

    Quick Action: Larvae will stop feeding within 2-3 hours after ingestion and kill within 2-3 days.
    Resistance Management: Suitable for insects resistant to organophosphates, carbamates, and pyrethroid insecticides.
    Extended Control: Offers long-term pest control.
    Quality Improvement: Enhances quality of produce.
    Early Maturity: Accelerates maturity of crop by 8-10 days in cabbage/cauliflower and 10-12 days in cotton with synchronous opening of bolls.
    IPM Compatibility: Safe on natural enemies and thus suitable for Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
    Mode of Action Unique: As a new insect growth regulator (IGR) with stomach action, it is used both for IPM as well as Insect Resistance Management (IRM).

    Use and crops:

    Crops: Cotton : American Bollworm; Cabbage: Diamondback moth; Tomato: Fruit borer; Chili : Fruit borer; Tobacco :Caterpillar; Bengal gram: Pod borer.
